Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers of the Month!

Meet a dedicated group of volunteers from St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.  Every 2nd Saturday of each month this group hosts a spirited game of Horseracing for 20-30 residents. Many of them have been coming for years! It’s hugely popular. They provide fabulous prizes and entertainment for the residents.

4 of these ladies, Dot, Barbara, Becky and Betty come in each December and bring Christmas presents for EVERY resident.  The gifts come from St. Gabriels parish.  Dot Murray has been volunteering at Saint Francis Home for 18 years!   She is a dedicated friend and help to all of our residents and staff.

We Thank You!

Volunteers are the backbone of Saint Francis Home. These are people who provide their musical talent, play board games, decorate the Home, organize donated items, play bridge with our residents and so much more.

Saint Francis Home couldn’t function without it’s wonderful volunteers. They bring their time, talent and energy into the Home and allow us to provide so much more than we could otherwise afford to pay. We are blessed that so many volunteers are dedicated to our mission. See below for current volunteer needs.
